The name of this synth is Polecat Two. It uses built-in and free modules for Reason Studios 12. It uses the newer Combinator module and isn't backward compatible for older versions of Reason Studio.
So...this is an experiment. It’s a West coast style synth that uses the Macro module from Presteign Sound Labs. That module has a proper low pass gate and a wavefolding option. Since there’s various limitations with the new combinator, I created a second combinator for random gates and pitches, along with more LFOs to connect to Pole Cat Two. This is the “Source of Randomness” combinator. The first part of the video shows how to hook them together.
NOTES: The envelope type can't be mapped on the combinator, so you'll need to go to the Macro device and switch it over if you want to have a slower attack.
The Polecat Two combinator works fine without the "Source of Randomness" hooked up (there are just fewer modulation options if you don't use it).
Anyhow….
