[TAS] Super Mario Galaxy - Faster Than A Speeding Penguin in
We spun a big wheel with all the stars that have NOT been TASed yet - I landed on Sea Slide 2 (Surface Swims Galore!).

This is also another test of using my input visualizer There are some improvements I need to make to the encode itself, but otherwise let me know what you think.
This run would not be possible without:

• Joselle: all the water/spinning info • SMG1 - Underwater spin timing properties including the fact that holding A while close to the floor speeds you up
Key notes:
• This is a LOTAD by my standards. I didn't spend much time testing too many variations
• I confirmed that a landing cancel is not possible up to 100 frames before the landing
• It's best to go to the left of the rock at 0:47 because of how the stage curves to the right. I tried doing various tricks (zip jumps, long jumps along the wall) but the ground pound setup after the surface swims seems to be the fastest
• It's possible to go to the right of the rocks at 1:01 but then I either slowed down a lot because I was too close to the wall or I got stuck doing surface swims (which eventually puts you out of the water because the stage slopes down)
• At 1:04 it's probably possible to start surface swims a little earlier
• At 1:08 the surface swim locks Mario at a certain y-coordinate, so he eventually hits the floor. This puts Mario on the ground and it takes a few frames before letting him enter the water. The long jump maintains an okay speed, but the spin as I re-enter the water is slow. I couldn't figure out a way to maintain the surface swims through that area
• bonking at the end did not save any time
• for a TAS, spinning as fast as possible while in the water is as simple as starting a spin on the frame the water spin timer hits 0
