Arduino + Speech Recognition
First test using voice commands with Arduino Uno R3 speech recognition program. Sending information to the Arduino via serial messages to display status of the program using coloured LEDs, and also to show the currently playing song and artist on the Arduino's liquid crystal display.
Currently I am using a simple python script (and the python plugin for VoxCommando) to send serial messages to the Arduino via the USB connection.
Software used: VoxCommando, Arduino IDE, MediaMonkey
Hardware used: Windows PC connected to Arduino Uno R3 via USB cable, LEDs, resistors, LCD display, breadboard, jumper wires, Amulet remote.
