Teammates You Can Trust | Elden Ring
It's disappointing that getting a good co-invader in Elden Ring is more rare than getting non-duped Golem Arrows. Requiring a host to activate the Taunter's Tongue (TT), summon help, and keep only one summon makes it unlikely for anyone except those looking for a real challenge of seeing a 2v2. Letting the host toggle the TT off/on whenever they want just adds another disappointment as many only use it to remove downtime.
Of course if you do get a host who has let a second invader in the real frustration becomes in getting a good teammate. No matter what level you invade there are many reds who attack other reds instead of eliminating the host, often as the host is attacking them. Then there are co-invaders who have no/low vigor and die quickly as a result only to feed your opponents a flask refill. As well as co-invaders who do try their best but can't stop doing big actions that only hit other reds.
So as an invader it's really nice when you see "Bloody/Recusant Finger _______ has invaded" and that name is one you recognize as reliable.
