3ds Max Matte Shadow Set-up
3d models combined with background photo. Matte shadow effect has been added to allow the 3d models to cast shadows on the ground and the corrugated fence in the photo.
Process.
3d models have been created for the ground and fence, and aligned with the background photo.
A Matte/Shadow Material has been applied to the ground and fence 3d model.
When rendered the ground and fence 3d model act as shadow surfaces and give the effect of the shadows being cast on the ground and fence in the background photo.
