Abandoned Limestone Mine - Mysteries of Wychley Warren
Rutland has a well established open cast quarrying industry, but less people are aware that we also have an underground mining history. Though underground mining never took off at this site, there are remnants of this curious experiment; the subject of this video.
This is not the only mine in the area, a few miles away in Collyweston is an active mine working Collyweston Slate which I would love the opportunity to make a video on in the future.
