Monitoring Stratus ztC Edge using OPC UA Tags
In this episode of Tech Bytes, Tom talks us through how to move from a traditional Thick Client Architecture to a new Thin Client Architecture using Stratus ztC Edge, and how to monitor status of the system using OPC tags to alert relevant personnel when issues or warnings occur so issues can be addressed pre-emptively.
Stratus ztC has the ability to run virtual machines on redundant hardware that supports Fault Tolerant Mode. This means that if one server fails, the virtual machines will resume on the partner server. This video shows how you can monitor the status of this redundancy using OPC UA tags in InTouch.
