Introduction to the BitTitan PowerShell SDK
The PowerShell SDK that is available for BitTitan's MigrationWiz gives a powerful scripted base alternative to the web console. It means that you can automate a huge amount of tasks so they can be run quickly and repetitively against the MigrationWiz backend.
It could be adding accounts to projects and starting their migrations, after an automated pre-migration task has been run on your system, or just a way of checking the status of migrations and reporting back through a scripted method.
There are tons of ways that this can be of huge benefit to anybody that knows PowerShell well and wants to take advantage of it.
Here in this video I show you how to download and install the SDK, and then access it through either a PowerShell console or the PowerShell ISE.
From there I connect to some live instances and perform a walkthrough of some common tasks showing you how to connect to your projects and start using the tool.
Lastly I provide the access link to the GitHub library with all the sample scripts and code where the majority of the work is already done for you. Just copy/paste into your own scripts.
Overall this gives a very solid addition to the MigrationWiz tool and I encourage anybody who is performing migrations on a regular basis to check this out.
