COMBUSTION CYCLE BASICS describe the four strokes that complete the cycle of power generation which make the engine run. The four strokes are:
1) Intake
2) Compression
3) Power
4) Exhaust
These occur repeatedly in the combustion chambers of the engine which drive the pistons & connecting rods to turn the Crankshaft, generating torque for the engine.
