Rocket Academy was lucky to have hosted Christopher Forno, CTO of Tetmon, a firm that serves BFSI, cryptos, and other industries with data integration products and data infrastructure services.
Tetmon's EdgeSet is a data integration tool that enables you to join databases, with minimal tech skills needed, so that you can obtain a 360 customer view, all within 1 minute. Tetmon (www.tetmon.com) was chosen to represent Singapore in a deeptech summit in late 2020, and is distributed regionally by established system integrators.
During the hour-long session, Chris walked us through his journey as a distinguished software engineer, the differences between data engineering and software engineering, and examples of good database designs, among other topics.
