How to use a Cricut to make handmade stencils for pottery| Mandala Plate Design Part 1
CRICUT for pottery!
🎨 Part 1!
✨In this video, I go through the process of navigating the cricut design center (beginner style 😂 as this was my fist time using my cricut for pottery)to first select the design, then set up a cricut mat, and finally apply the vinyl adhesive before loading the mat into the machine. When the mat is completed and design is cut, I weed out the parts that i want removed and apply the vinyl to a handmade pottery plate delicately using transfer tape. Sounds confusing but it’s really not! Think of it as a giant sticker stencil being applied to a piece of pottery, for really cool glazing effects!
✨This is part one. Part 2 will be uploaded shortly showing the glazing process with results! This is one of my favorites!!! Although it was a long tedious process, i am working on a faster more efficient solution!
