WARNING: very dangerous experiment, replicated only by people with electrical experience.
In this experiment a normal electric welding machine and an imitation of salt water electric welding machine are compared. The purpose is to show how the salt water system exploits the electrical conductivity to weld. Material: Insulating rubber gloves. Tap water. Cooking salt. 2 copper sheets for electrical contacts. Electrodes 1.5 mm maximum. This welding system does not replace a real electric welding machine, but is an alternative to emergency welding in case of need. The working voltage for welding is between 38 and 42 volts. Keep in mind that the system is not a current transformer, 230V is always present in the cables. The power for deep welding is based on adding more salt in water. The current to carry out this welding must not be less than 3KW with 220-230V. Electrodes 1.5 - 2 mm maximum. ***Fundamental, to be successful with this type of welding you have to connect directly from the counter, not from the safety switch.
