Create a bootable USB stick on Ubuntu:
With a bootable Ubuntu USB stick, you can
Install or upgrade Ubuntu
Experience Ubuntu desktop without touching your PC configuration settings
Creating a bootable Ubuntu USB device is very simple, especially from Ubuntu itself.
Requirements: You will need
A 4GB or larger USB pen drive/flash drive
Ubuntu 14.04 LTS or later version installed
An Ubuntu ISO file

We are going to use ‘Startup Disk Creator’ to write the ISO image to your USB pen drive and it is installed by default on the Ubuntu system. So there is no need to install separately.
Follow the steps to create a bootable USB pen drive:
Select the Startup Disk Creator by selecting the app launcher.
In the Source Disc image section, select File Uploader to upload your ISO file.
In the Disk to use section, it will automatically display your USB Pendrive.
Select Make Startup Disk.
Before making any permanent changes, you will be asked to confirm the USB device you’ve chosen is correct. This is important because any data currently stored on this device will be destroyed.
After that, the system will take some to complete the whole procedure.
That’s it, now you have Ubuntu on a USB pen drive, bootable and ready to go.
