If I remember correctly I was referencing films where the protagonist was caught in a cycle of repetitive rebirth such as Run Lola Run, Groundhog Day and Edge of Tomorrow (2014).
This animatic was created before another one called 'The Keeper of Time animatic' ( • The Keeper of Time [Animatic] ) I realised my intention was to have them as an accompaniment to each other. Therefor 'The Soul Collector' followed by 'The Keeper of Time' gives more of a sense of this cycle of rebirth and striving for something like ascension.
