Galileo thermometer demonstration
In this video I demonstrate how a Galileo thermometer works. In a room around 70 degrees Fahrenheit, I place my thermometer on a hot plate at low temperature. As the temperature of the thermometer water increases, the glass bubbles containing food coloring and a liquid begin to sink as the density of the surrounding clear liquid changes.
