Windman - Brief Moment Away From It All
You slowly dip into the hot springs, ready to forget all that concerns you.
There's a lot of meaning behind this one. I really wanted to capture the image of an astronaut relaxing in the hot springs of an alien planet. This image was what the album cover was originally going to be but I had difficulty finding an artist to do that. I went across many variations of the album cover, the image for this track being one of them.
This track was made alongside Molten Swamp and has a similar structure. The lush ambient loop is comprised of several distorted sections of Suntower by 808 State with 2 quieter samples added to stop the track from becoming monotonous. The sounds of water that can be heard throughout was recorded by me.
The title came to me very easily while I was creating the track. It adds context to the calm atmosphere and makes the image I was aiming for a lot clearer.
