SYNOPSIS: My Sony MDR-7506 professional studio monitoring headphones had their pleather (PU-leather / leatherette) ear pads peeling away, falling apart and clumbling to pieces after merely 4 years of light use. I could easily buy cheap replacement earpads, but I didn't want to keep ordering those and waiting months everytime, so I spent many weeks searching for a durable solution. This is what I found.
