Etude No.16 "Messiaen M3 - Major Triads - Legato - Economy Picking"
This etude heavily features major triads used as polytonal arpeggios. The scale Messiaen M3 consists of those notes: G A Bb B C# D Eb F F#
There are a ton of possibilites for building chords but the idea here uses major chords only. G, B, Eb and F#, Bb, D
so M3 can also be devided into two augmented scales a half step apart.
The clearity of the neighboring major triads combined with all the possible roots and a consistent movement creates a cool inside/outside sound.
