Building with Passion Together at Nordic Northwest
Thurman Miller, carpenter, volunteer, and newly appointed board member at Nordic Northwest, reflects on his experience of building Ole Bolle as part of Thomas Dambo's Way of the Bird King here on the Nordic Northwest campus.
Thurman worked with over 100 volunteers who dedicated hundreds of hours of their time towards this tremendous project that has had a huge impact on the Nordic Northwest campus. Between January and April of 2024, we've counted over 40,000 visitors to Ole Bolle, and we hope to see many more. The positive impact we've seen on our membership, our programs, and our community cannot be understated. As a non-profit, we rely on donations and dedication to be able to take on projects like building Ole Bolle in addition to creating robust year round programming, scholarships, events, and festivals.
