Build a Firebase Dashboard with Amazon Alexa
In today's episode we're connecting our Firebase project to our Amazon Alexa
Skill. We'll learn how to add NPM packages to our AWS Lambda function, generate
a Firebase service account and work with the Firebase Admin SDK.
In this exciting three part series we'll build a Firebase backed Alexa Skill
along with a realtime dashboard in React. It's a fun project that is a lot of
fun to demo with your friends and is a good intro to the Alexa Skill SDK.
This will be a Coffee Stand sales tracker that is voice powered with our custom
Alexa Skill. The transactions will be saved in a Firebase Firestore database
which means we can easily add a live updating dashboard with React!
