WHY ARE BUBBLES ROUND?
Bubbles are round because the surface tension of the soap film pulls them into the shape of a sphere. This happens because the surface tension is the force that balances the inward force of the air molecules on the bubble and the outward force of the air molecules on the bubble.
WHY IS THE BUBBLE SQUARE OR TRIANGLE?
The soap film sticks to all six sides of the frames, the bubbles on the side push against the middle bubble giving it corners and sides like a cube or triangle.
You should notice however that the bubble isn’t a perfect square or triangle, it’s still trying to become a sphere and doesn’t have straight lines.
