Is 'insect tea' a 'treasure of tea'?
Insect tea, also called "Chongshi Cha" in Chinese, is a bit like the famous "cat-poop coffee" produced from coffee beans digested by the civet cat. After learning that insect tea has been widely used as traditional beverage and medicine by ethnic groups in southwest China for hundreds of years, @Julian Unearths decided to clear up the mystery behind it.
