International collaboration sheds new light on ancient guqin tune "Plum Blossom"
#CGTNTheStage features an unprecedented trio of guzheng, African drum and electric guitar. Chinese guzheng player Lucy Luan, Cameroonian musician Abbe Simon and China Conservatory of Music student Tommy Zhou collaborate on a new rendition of the ancient tune "Plum Blossom." In traditional Chinese culture, the flower represents people with a noble and unsullied character.
