I this video, I have explained Project window and source window in Adobe Premier Pro. Project window or media window is where you import and organize your media. You do not edit the original content of your files in video editing process. The Project window act as a storage container which contains references to all the footage files (video, audio, and images) that you have imported into Premiere.
Followings are the items in project view;
• Thumbnail viewer
• Set poster frame
• Play/Stop thumbnail
• Bin (folder)
• Media Items (video clips etc)
• List view
• Icon view
• Automate to sequence
• Find
• New Bin
• New Item
While Source Monitor/source window is where you view and trim your raw media. The basic purpose of the Source window/Monitor is to enables you to view your clips at full resolution. It can be used to preview individual clips. You can also use the Source Monitor to prepare clips before you add them to a sequence. In the Source Monitor, you can set In and Out points and specify how the clip will be added to the Timeline. You can view clips in this monitor by dragging and dropping them into the Source panel or by double-clicking them.
