Into The Fridge (Prototype Gameplay Phase 1)
We are a group of 4 Game Art and Design students from the School of Interactive and Digital Media (SIDM) in Nanyang Polytechnic Singapore. This is part of a 3 week Studio Project and does not currently represent final game quality since it has not been chosen for development.
Into the Fridge is an first person action thriller game where you play as a mischievious mouse who attempts to break into the fridge. This is done with the use of contraptions created using various household items that are collected as he roams the house.
Into the Fridge evokes emotions with the use of the thrill of being chased rather than with the use of grotesque art normally found in horror games. The game taps into the player's sense of priority and challenges their choice making capabilities, be it in long term planning, or short term wits. A game that can change from a tranquil atmosphere into a thrilling chase sequence in a blink of an eye, Into the Fridge will never fail to please.
