Simulation of the SARS-CoV-2 spike protein!
The first glimpse at our simulations of the spike COVID19 spike protein, courtesy of Folding@home! The three colors are different proteins that assemble together. The end towards the top opens up to reveal the binding site that engages with host (i.e. human) cells.
Using Folding@home, we want to capture this opening motion, as the whole range of structures along the way are potential targets.
