Did you know to add SRT files on Linkedin you need to upload an .mp4 file and not an .mov file? 80% of the users on Linkedin watch a video on silent. Most people are at work, are trying to multi-task or a number of other reasons to not have the sound on, so it’s important to upload videos with heavy text graphics or at least corrected SRT files.
As you can see when you upload an MOV file, it’s not going to extend the playbox to be able to access the pencil edit button and be able to upload the SRT file.
However when you upload an MP4 file, it will extend the playback box and you’ll be able to select on the pencil edit button and upload your SRT file.
