Mario Kart Wii Unlock Funky Kong in
9th WW and best known time for Karts as of this video's uploading date.
After practicing shroomless MG glitch a bunch of times for Mushroom Cup speedruns, I had to give this category another shot.
This was an exceptional Mushroom Gorge glitch time for me. Over a 15-second improvement from my former PB. I'm much more consistent with this method. I somehow get more height by not using shrooms on the mushroom pad. Instead, I use the shrooms for recovery, since I very rarely get good landings. Not the fastest method, but easily the most doable for me.
The rest of the tracks were played decently, for Koopa + Mini Beast. My former PB, which uses Wario + Flame Flyer beats them by 2 seconds total, since it's a faster combination overall for the remaining 3 tracks. I thought about using Koopa for... well, obvious reasons. But I would argue it's the fastest non unlockable lightweight character. Baby Peach has a speed bonus, but she's not as fast as Baby Luigi or Baby Daisy are. Plus she doesn't have a miniturbo bonus. Koopa has the highest miniturbo stat of all lightweights (alongside Dry Bones), and also a drift bonus, which can come in handy for Mushroom Gorge glitch.

Apologies if this is not the content you like for me to upload. I'll probably go back to uploading regular time trials after this, but these speedruns are a ton of fun for me. Definitely intending to speedrun with different kinds of karts in the future :p
