[MineCraft 1.13.2+] Vanilla Checkpoints/Bookmarks using Command Blocks!

Used Commands:
/summon Item ~ ~-2 ~ {Item:{id:writable_book,Count:1},PickupDelay:32768,Age:-32768,CustomNameVisible:1,CustomName:"Checkpoint"}
/spawnpoint @a[r=2] ~1 ~2 ~
/kill @e[name=Checkpoint,r=5]
You can put a barrier block on top of the platform to make the Book float. You can put another barrier block 2 blocks above the first one to prevent people from jumping on the first one.
I advise recreating the same platform design I used to make the commands work properly. You can change the materials as you wish, of course.
