Let's Learn the Core Word "Help"
Are you teaching your students about core words? For individuals using AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) learning core words is key to communication! As seen in my earlier videos on my AAC Parent Coaching playlist, we need both core and fringe words to communicate efficiently!
In this new video in my Learning About Core Words playlist, older students (teens and adults) can learn about core words in this age respectful video. The word "help" is important and with this video, you can help teach your students the importance of the word "help". Many students with complex communication needs have difficulty communicating this communicative function which is essential in daily life.
Each video clip has written sentences, voiceover and one target icon. Use this video to expand vocabulary, improve communication and discuss different ways we can ask for help.
