Let's Learn the Core Word "Open"
Are you teaching your students about core words? For individuals using AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) learning core words is key to communication! As seen in my earlier videos on my AAC Parent Coaching playlist, we need both core and fringe words to communicate efficiently!
In this new video in my Learning About Core Words playlist, older students (teens and adults) can learn about core words in this age respectful video. The word "open" is important and with this video, you can help teach your students the importance of this word. There are so many ways to use the word "open" from opening a door to opening your mouth at the dentist. The word "open" will take on a new meaning after watching this video and your students will learn to generalize this word across contexts.
