ARTIST BIO
Maaria Kader is a California fine art scratchboard artist. (Scratchboard is a subtractive art form done on a white kaolin clay coated hardboard covered in black India ink. Color can also be added. Sharp tools are used to produce detailed artwork.)
Maaria is a predominantly self-taught scratchboard artist and works from her home studio in Laguna Niguel, California.
Maaria was first introduced to scratchboard as a teenager and she rediscovered her passion for scratchboard after being accepted into ISSA (International Society of Scratchboard Artists.) ISSA is an organization dedicated to the promotion and professional development of artists with an interest in the excellence of scratchboard art.
Her art has been exhibited in galleries across the country including California, Arizona, Kentucky, Ohio and also across the globe in Australia.
Maaria can be found teaching at ARTime Studio in Mission Viejo and ARTime Barro in Laguna Beach.

Peter Levshin was born in Sydney, Australia and has lived in Los Angeles since 1988 with his wife, Linda, four children and six grandchildren. Peter came from a creative family - his father was a painter and his mother designed ceramics, pottery, as well as tapestries.
Peter's photographs are simple, ethereal, mystical and always have a dramatic atmosphere. He captures bold colors that make a statement, yet the simple subjects create a sense of drama. Peter wants the viewer to feel a connection with his artwork.
