People who understand the abundant community and utilize restricted local social media create the MOST secure neighborhoods if for the simple fact that all ears and eyes can alert the community in an instant. The police do not provide public safety. The community does. Crime is a symptom of a broken community. If we reweave community outside of the money-based economy, we have a chance.
