2022 HIGHLIGHT REEL — Caleb Jones
An outstanding year comes to a close. With more miles traveled to the river and more personal first descents than any other year, it's had some incredible moments.
I spent nearly four months off the water after needing surgery to fix the exostosis in my inner ear canal. But I came back with a deeper appreciation for the sport and for the river.
From competing in the Nantahala Glacier Breaker, to the Alabama Cup Series, to the GoPro Mountain Games and the 2022 ICF World Cup, it's hard to put into words what this year meant for me.
I spent 108 days on the river, took 126 commercial rafting trips and loved every second of it. Here's to 2023 and the memories that it holds.
