Cycling - 20 June 2021
Follow me round the roads if you want to get out and about without leaving the house. Nothing truly remarkable, I don't do tricks, I try to keep an even pace, my fitness isn't as good as it was last year and my hill climbing needs some work.
Some typical road experiences with debatable motor vehicle behaviours - we all make mistakes I suppose.
Only got bibbed at twice. I wasn't on the road for the first one (shared path if you're interested, approx 10 mins in). The driver (GD15 YSO) politely waited for me to cross which I couldn't until the car squeezing alongside them had seen me and stopped as well. Not sure they saw that and thought I was faffing about.
The other, an impatient young man in a car was upset I didn't stop to wait for him though it was my right of way and I was descending a hill on wet roads but lets not let that get in the way of an incorrect perception of road priority. He didn't stop though, made me squeeze over. About 2 mins from the end if you're interested - YR55 OLN.
I think I was the same at that age for which I can only apologise!
