By simply rotating the seats, it is possible to quickly and easily reconfigure the carriage into a combination of different arrangements providing a choice between privacy and conviviality. The system can offer the choice between the groupings of passengers, from the traditional bay of four to facing pairs for more intimate experiences, private single seating and unique spaces for three.
The seating system has the potential to allow operators to sell a single bed in the space of two reclining seats, a place to sleep and a place to work, or even a true double bed. By moving away from the model of selling seats to one that sells space, FLEX introduces a scalable value offer based on a passengers willingness and ability to pay.
