BNP East Ended- part 5
Eddy continues to talk about how the BNP stopped all the marching and continued to talk to people on their doorstops about the problems they were finding such as crime, poor housing and unemployment. The problem with the BNP in those days was because the leadership did not put much effort to organise in other parts of the country, although it did stand about 13 candidates for the 1992 General Election, it still remained poor and failed to take part in most of the local elections.

September 1993 dawned a breakthrough for the party in the Millwall by-election in Tower Hamlets where the English were being driven out in favour of Bangladeshi immigrants who were given de luxe housing. This made English residents outraged and used their vote to vote the British National Party. This was, as Eddy said, a false dawn although the party won its first ever councillor Derek Beackon,

he was then lost in 1994 because the Labour party encouraged the Bangladeshis to fight against the BNP in the 1994 local elections and most of all, the MI5 set-up Combat 18 had infiltrated the BNP as a security force and start a campaign of attacks against the Reds and the BNP like Eddy himself- C18 was officially banned once the leadership knew who they were but the membership went into great decline.
Since then, the BNP have failed badly, and now in Tower Hamlets you see Asian mosques, Asian people be they Bangladeshi or Pakistani, it is no longer a traditional English working class area.
Another thing Labour did back before the NF and the BNP was not just the flooding of Asian immigrants but also the love of ugly, boring modern architecture where council houses with four bedrooms, stairs, kitchen, two living rooms and a back garden were transformed into the ugly soulless tower block housing with flats for a large family where you would find two rooms, poor heating and electricity and not much space either. These tower-block houses have become the life of grime and crime, as they have completely degraded the working class in all urban areas. They are disgusting and we must do everything we can to stop anything similar.
'Sparrows can't sing' which starred Barbara Windsor relfected the degeneracy of these soulless tower blocks.
