Fighting Masters (GEN/MD) - USA vs JP version
This video shows the version differences between the U.S and Japanese versions of Fighting Masters for the Sega Mega-drive/Genesis. The main notable difference is the games story.
The U.S version involves a tournament held by an omnipotent race of aliens called the Primaries and the winner of the tournament having their civilisation saved from a galaxy threatening supernova by them.
The Japanese Version involves 12 star systems being enslaved by the evil lord Valgasu and your chosen fighter going up against the mind controlled fighters of these star systems and finally lord Valgasu himself.
The other main difference shown in the video is the name and weight of the fighters which differ between versions.
