Decadent Chocolate Peanut Butter Chip Cookies!
Peanut Butter Chips or Reese's Mini's? Packed with rich peanut butter flavor, these cookies have a crispy exterior texture but a creamy, soft inside. These cookies (even without the chips) are heavenly delicious and so easy to make.
Tough to choose between the Peanut Butter Chips or the Reese's Mini Peanut Butter Cups! Try both of them, or do a half & half. These easy to make cookies will be a favorite.
Recipe:
Preheat oven to 350
Ingredients:
good 60% to 70% cacao chocolate - 6 oz or 170g
all-purpose flour - 1 Cup or 120 g
baking soda - 1/2 tsp
table salt - 1/4 tsp or just a pinch
eggs, room temperature - two or 2
unsalted butter, room temperature - 3 oz or 85 g
brown sugar - 1 cup or 200 g
vanilla - 1 tsp
peanut butter chips - 8 - 10 oz or 220 - 2806 OR use mini peanut butter cups
Steps:
Melt chocolate and allow to cool
Cream butter and sugar
Mix in eggs until completely combined
fully incorporate chocolate and vanilla
stir in sifted dry ingredients without overmixing
stir in chips or mini-peanut butter cups
-- Scoop, leave space for cookies to spread, bake for 10 - 12 minutes.
COOKIES SHOULD REMAIN SOFT - do not overbake
