Welcome to the Beginner's guide for crafting Trickster Essence Drain 6L bow, 5 exalted orbs version in Path of Exile.
UPDATE for 3.14 Ultimatum:
Bench mod for Chaos damage overtime multiplier is nerfed, now the rank 3 is :
(31–35)% to Chaos Damage over Time Multiplier (it was 36-40%).
Very important, before you start crafting, be sure to check the price on trade, sometimes people will sell these bows for 5ex or even less. Then it is better to just buy one from trade and forget about crafting.
Here is the list of the mods you need to get:
+ 1 to Level of Socketed Gems
Can have up to 3 Crafted Modifiers (crafting bench) 2ex
+2 to Level of Socketed Support Gems 2ex
+(31–35)% to Chaos Damage over Time Multiplier 4c
The main difference between 5ex and 10ex version is that this cheaper version doesn't have the suffix - (31–35)% to Damage over Time Multiplier. With a cheaper version, your essence drain and bane will do less damage but the difference in price is also high.
