South Africa's Evolving Foreign Policy Outlook
The Institute for International Economic Policy was pleased to partner with the Institute for African Studies (IAfS) and kick off the academic year with "South Africa's Evolving Foreign Policy Outlook" — an incredibly enriching and insightful conversation with South Africa's newly-elected Minister of International Relations and Cooperation, H.E. Ronald Lamola. Minister Lamola opened the event with remarks on the nation's foreign policy direction and strategic goals in the aftermath of 2024 general elections in May, followed by a discussion and audience exchange moderated by IAfS Director Jennifer Cooke.
