With all the info about the Xbone from the first press conference and now E3 I thought I'd share some reactions, analysis, comments and thoughts on Microsoft's new console.
1:45 - Hardware, comparision with the two previous generations using Moore's Law as a guide for expectations of transistors, RAM, harddrives as a loose estimation of cost and performance. Also including comments on new controllers, headsets and kinect.
13:44 - Media Center, was why they called it the Xbox One. But what new stuff can you do with it? Interesting ideas but not a reason to buy.
18:15 - Game Console and Dedicated Servers, it's why you buy the thing after all and I've not read a word on how revolutionary a standardized virtual server could be for the Xbone.
26:26 - Digital Sales and Required Connection, it's all the anti-hype as Microsoft just brings up more questions with every new press statement. It mostly just makes it less distinctive from many of the big titles on PC.
