Count On Me | Alan Menken Demo | 1991 Storyboard
Here is composer Alan Menken's 1991 demo to "Count On Me" (identified here as "You Can Count on Me"), written for the film Aladdin. Written soon after the death of Howard Ashman, his original collaborator on the project and the person who first brought the title to Disney, and before Tim Rice was brought onto the project, Alan supplied both the music and lyrics for this song.
This upload also features the introduction by co-director Ron Clements from the Platinum Edition DVD release of the film. The storyboard footage has also been reformatted to fit a 16x9 screen and stabilized using Adobe Premiere.
