I'm in two minds about Yoichi's personality reveal. On one hand, I think it's poorly written at this point, because it completely contradicts things that were safely established the first time Gekkouin assessed him, and there has been no indication that he has changed since then. On the other, I don't have a problem with the idea of him having that side to him. It does change my view of him somewhat, but that's cool. For example, I'm pretty sure that I like him less now, simply because he's lost some of his appeal in my eyes, but at the same time I also find him more interesting in other ways. I have also changed my stance on shipping him with Yuu. I'm definitely into Yuu←Yoichi, but Yuu x Yoichi as a proper pairing - not so much. I still need to think about it a bit, and I'll be paying attention to their future interactions, but at the moment I'm pretty much all for the "interesting and complicated but ultimately one-sided" interpretation. I think it also shows in the video. I started out with the intention of including both characters, so I ended up showing Yuu being oblivious to Yoichi's real thoughts and not sharing in Yoichi's cruel streak.
