UTMB Mozart 100 - This was NOT a success 😱
Running the UTMB Mozart 100 didn't go exactly according to plan...
Was i completely ready for this adventure? Probably not 🫣
Was the weather crap? Didn't you watched the video 😅
Well I've learned some lessons from this exciting and cold adventure.
My kit wasn't sufficient as i got freezing cold up on the mountains.
If there wasn't such heavy rain or mud, i would have gotten a lot further in the race, probably even reached the finish 🤷♂️
I just lost too much time not only going up the mountains but also going down...
If i need to be honest, going down is my weakest point as I've got a lot more insecurities downhill than uphill.
I don't get the opportunity to train on technical terrain making it difficult for me to ever get over those insecurities 🥲
This was my last Ultra for 2024, too bad that it ended in a DNF (my 2nd DNF ever 😲).
Perhaps i'll be back on the start line next year...
2025 will be a year focused on Ultra running so I'm hopefully much stronger by then 😉
