The Present Perfect Continuous is significant among all the tenses that we learn in English language because it connects the past and the present. This tense is used specially to talk about actions that began in the past and continue in the present.
E.g.: I have been working in this company for 6 years.
It means that 'I' started working in this company 6 years ago, and 'I' still work in this company. The action does not belong to the past. It connects to the present.
