BREAKING: Amazon Sellers Hit With "Seeds and Plants" Restricted Policy Violations

BREAKING NEWS:
It's Saturday morning, June 29 and it's one of those "AMAZON SCREWED UP" kind of days. Sellers are waking up or going to bed (depending on which hemisphere you are in!) to THOUSANDS of Policy Violation emails about how their products are suspended and removed due to a violation of the Restricted Products policy. The restriction?
They think that the products in question are "SEEDS OR LIVE PLANTS".
You can't make this up. The exact violation is stated as follows:
"This product has been identified as a live plant or seed product that is listed outside of the SEEDS_AND_PLANTS or PLANT_SEED categories"
Two things:
#1 - DON'T PANIC - you are not alone. This is clearly a glitch and hopefully, Amazon fixes this before you have to address it.
#2 - ACKNOWLEDGE VIOLATIONS and appeal them in your Account Health ASAP. It's possible Amazon will wipe these away but it's never a bad idea to go ahead and proactively work on them.
