I'm really happy I got to contribute to the project centered around my favorite (and overall very important for many reasons) vocaloid. Happy birthday, MIRIAM!!

And as for the song itself, well.... It's a really important project for me personally. I came up with it pretty long ago, inspired and fueled by ctrl's robust and detailed fictional world, Frea. "Artificial snow globe city, don't pretend to understand how it works" were the words that popped up in my head when I was reading about DALA, a lethargic domed city with not enough light, not enough air and not enough joy for everyone. That was how this song was born. I felt like Miriam would be the best fit to sing it, with her calm but sorrowful voice. We worked together with ctrl to include parts in their conlang, Frev (those parts are sung by MAIKA in this version, but initially I was planning on using Yukari since I didn't have MAIKA back then). It was going to be a very ambitious project and I couldn't really handle it back then, so it got delayed for many many years.
And after all those many years, what started as a tribute to the silent anxiety of the inhabitants of a fictional world on its last breath, became reflection on my own anxiety about my own world. I didn't notice how it happened. Anyway yeah it's a really important song in a lot of senses and I'm just really glad I finally got it out of my head. I can be free now.....
Comment from ctrl (the artist and the person who made this song possible in the first place): A VERY IMPORTANT SONG. VERY IMPORTANT PLS WATCH, LISTEN , THINK. more important than anything

Translation of Frea parts (performed by MAIKA):
1) Don’t cry, my dear
We are alone
On the silent night
Sleep, my dear
2) Don’t cry, my dear
We will go away
To the wonderland
Where the sky is real

special thanks to winter who decided to make this MIRIAM project possible and paired me with ctrl for this, god knows for how long I'd put this song off if it wasn't for those factors.
