Sonic Pi is a software program built for the Raspberry Pi computer (it’s also available for Mac). It’s a music coding app that allows you to learn to code in a creative manner, by composing or performing music. In this Sonic Pi Tutorial, we will take you through the basics of writing notes with either note names or Hz, rests, chords, controlling duration through the use of envelopes, using synths and samples, and looping.
