Rosa Pistola - Latin Underground Music from Mexico

Laura Puentes, known as Rosa Pistola, is a Colombian DJ who has lived in Mexico for 18 years. A key figure in Latin underground music, she blends reggaetón, cumbiatón, dembow, and more to create subversive, erotic dance atmospheres.

She has worked on noise and experimental music projects like Mangina and Boy Band, later transitioning to reggaetón in 2015. Rosa Pistola has performed at events like Boiler Room, EDC México, and Glastonbury, and collaborated with NTS Radio and Resident Advisor. In 2021, she founded her own urban sound label and recording studio, La Chekera REC.
